Creating is good for your health – more than that, it's essential to your mental wellbeing. Free flowing thought can exist within systems. Whether you work for yourself or for an organization, your thinking is still your own, and whatever you create is a manifestation of you being you.

So make something! Make up a silly song on your way to your car, draw meaningless pictures with your children, make cookies or dinner from scratch without a recipe. And still take care of yourself, your family, your work. Your act of creating helps you be a better person, family member, business owner, collaborator, employee.

What happens when a tree stops creating new leaves? It withers and dies. Everything you create doesn't need to change the world much, just a little bit, just enough to clear some space in your head. And that in itself only adds to your lives and to those you touch.
